Here is my list of the top clean and adorable free games for iOS devices if you like games that give you a warm, fuzzy feeling and are looking for a mobile gaming experience!
Thanks to the enormous success of titles like Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing: New Horizons, gamers’ interests are beginning to veer away from first-person shooters and toward games that revolve around cute anthropomorphic animal companions and that emphasize crafting and collecting.
Here are some of our personal recommendations for cute and relaxing mobile games to play, including free games
Released in October 2014, Neko Atsume (translates literally to “cat gather” in My all-time favorite game of the genre is Kitty Collector (, cat collector, in Japanese). Everything about this game screams “kawaii,” from the art style to the colors, the background music, and of course the cats!
You basically need to buy toys and fill up food bowls to get cats to come to your yard. To find new kitties, log out of the app occasionally and check back in.
You are a badass rabbit named Tsuki who rage-quit her 9–5 corporate job to take over the family carrot farm that your grandfather had left for you.
The village of Mushroom has shops with a seemingly retro Showa-era theme where you can gather carrots, catch fish, and meet new villagers. Once you have enough carrots saved up to pay for train tickets, you can also venture outside the village to discover new places.
Adorable Home might seem an odd choice as we’re all locked indoors, but this idyllic game is about every millennial’s dream: owning their own house. While you make bento, decorate your home, and adopt cats and dogs, let the relaxing background music of the game calm you.
Stardew Valley is the most chill, purest game anyone could’ve wished for. It contains all the same components as the cult classic Harvest Moon but with adorable pixel graphics and a serene soundtrack (I even listen to the soundtrack while I work because it is so peaceful).
Furistas Cat Cafe
Play as the owner of a cozy cat cafe in Furistas Cat Cafe. Adopt sweet felines with various personality traits, pair them with clients who share those traits, and carry out your regular cafe duties.
Rakko Ukabe is a calming, aesthetically pleasing game where you put out food by the seaside to draw over 100 types of different otters in. Before they leave and return home, you can interact with each person because they each have a different personality type.
In the idle game Animal Restaurant, you assist a stray cat in opening and managing his own restaurant in the middle of a forest.
The gameplay is similar to most idle/”clicker” games, where you have to tap buttons to increase production/money, but there are a lot of items you can upgrade, events to play, lovely animation, and charming animal characters (bunnies, and bears, and foxes, oh my!) to serve.
You’re probably thinking, “Another cat game?”, but hear me out It’s so adorable, Cats&Soup!
This game is very similar to Animal Restaurant in that it is a click-intensive idle/restaurant management game with lots of cute animals and calming music. However, the game’s art design is much more appealing.
I find it especially cool that you can unlock new outfits and hats for the animal laborers. Additionally, you can give each forest employee cat a name and furnish their offices. It’s all so charming!
Similar to Adorable Home, Pocket Love is another clean and adorable game from Hyperbeard.
Interior design takes center stage in this game. The majority of the game involves unlocking rooms in your home and purchasing furniture, wallpaper, and flooring to decorate with. You can still create yourself and a partner, and you can, of course, adopt a cat or a dog.
Hungry Hearts Diner
Hungry Hearts Diner is likely the best game on this list in terms of gameplay and an actual storyline.
The story is what really makes the game’s art, which is certainly similar to the others in that it features cute characters and animation, making you feel cozy and good-hearted while you play.
You assist the charming little grandma who runs the main character’s Japanese restaurant. In addition to learning about her past and the histories of her family, friends, and fellow town residents, serving customers allows you to gain insight into their lives.
